I love birthday parties. This weekend it is my best friends birthday and as is customary in our family the festivities will start on Saturday and not end until the following weekend. We have birthday weeks around these parts and agree that it really is the only way a birthday should be celebrated. Excessive? Perhaps. Extravagant? Yep. A week of love, food, fun, friends and honoring the wonderfulness of every second spent together as friends? Most definitely.
